Spur Welding Jig
This jig was designed to accommodate any band size up to 1 1/2" tall and a variety of spur shanks from drop shanks to elevated shanks in almost any length. It features measuring marks to index your bands and shanks to. It is fully adjustable and eliminates the need for bulky C-Claps and vise grips. There is access to the top, bottom, and both sides of the shank, so you can get multiple tacks and insure that your shank will be perfectly square to the band. It can be used lying flat or standing up on end. It is also fully reversible for left hand welders. It is machined from 1/4" and 1/2" steel plate. It also includes 2 springs to keep the hold down clamps open when adjusting and (1) 1/32 stainless steel shim to offset the shank plate for thicker shanks.
